Spaghetti With Milanesa de Pollo

Hey guys!

Here we have an easy recipe, your kids and whole family will love. If you did not know, milanesa de pollo is chicken breast that has been sliced thru the middle, flatten out to a thinner size, and breaded. I wanted to share this with you so, you know what you are working with and also to get to know a little more of your ingredients.

I don’t know about you, in my family my son LOVES spaghetti!

Let’s get to cooking, how exciting!

Here are your ingredients
  • Milanesa de pollo
  • 1/2 Box Veggie Spaghetti
  • 1 Cup Fresh Parmesan grated
  • 1 Cup Red Pasta Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock
  • 1/2 Cup Half and Half
  • 1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Tbs Sofrito
  • Cilantro
  • Oil
You want it nice and brown

Directions

  1. Cook your pasta as instructed from the box ( I add salt and a dash of oil to my pasta water)
  2. Cook your milanesa in oil till nice and brown

Pasta sauce

  1. Add oil to your sauce pan and sofrito. Cook until nice and fragrant (keep on a low-med heat)
  2. Add cilantro and chicken stock reduce 2 min
  3. Add heavy whipping cream and half and half
  4. Add red pasta sauce stirring until well combined
  5. Add your parmesan, adding a little at a time and mix. Mix, mix, mix until well combined and making sure you have no cheese clumps.
  6. Add about 2 tbs of your pasta water
